lambda cephei is - according to the sky live - "a variable supergiant star of spectral class O6". it is a part of the constellation cepheus, who in greek mythology is the king of aethiopia and the father of andromeda - the famed princess rescued by the hero perseus.

in this context, lambda cephei is my venue in virtual reality for music within the ambient, experimental, and related genres. here, DJs play music that is remininscent of the brightest stars in the sky.
