i was so excited for this album the moment 'pixelated kisses' was released late last year. for me the draw to joji has always been that his music feels like a memory of mine, even if he and i have not had the same life experiences. the way he evokes sadness, apathy, and a growing sincere hope and wish to feel better and love better is very relatable. i love this album.
